FAQs

You can repair a range of TPO, TEO and PP plastic materials. Some examples include plastic car parts, kayaks, canoes, play sets, plastic furniture, plastic buckets, and more.

Not recommended for use on old Polyurethane or Polycarbonate

The included polyplaz plastic rods are formulated with carbon and glass fibers for extra strength and flexibilty. It bonds strongly to rigid thermoplastics, such as TPO, TEO and PP materials. Not recommended for use on old Polyurethane or Polycarbonate.

Do not unscrew the tip while hot. Metal becomes brittle in high heat. Wait for tip to cool down, unscrew the old tip by twisting counter clockwise and replace it with the new tip. Tighten until the new tip base is flush.

After each use, place the welder on the included stand and wait for it to cool. Once cool, clean off any excess plastic on welder and tip with included wire brush, then wipe down with a clean cloth.
