Great. Just what I was looking for !!!I was looking for this kind of wire for my masks and most of them are just all metal so I cant easily sew the fabric down. But I was able to sew right over the fabric piece of this without hitting the metal. I want to buy more because it was so hard to find but Im not sure how many more masks well need here.
The metal nose pieces I've bought previously were shorter than I need. This can be cut to the exact length I want. I have zigzag stitched it in to a few masks and inserted it in to pockets that I had sewn in for removable nose wires on others. Haven't run it through the wash yet but it seems like it should be ok.
Worth the price. This copper band sews easily in the nose bridge of face coverings. Yes, your needle will go through it, so it stays in place, no shifting. My customers are very happy with the way it feels. I had a challenge. A customer wanted me to custom craft a "fencing" outfit for an 18" doll. I used this product to shape the headgear! worked great!
Wearing glasses with masks is a challenge. Our glasses always fog up. I finally bought this strip to sew onto our masks. I just cut a few inches of the strip, easily sewed it on the bridge part of the masks, and it made a huge difference: no more foggy glasses! The strip is flexible enough that one can squeeze it to perfectly mold the shape of the nose and prevent any air from escaping. We all have different shaped noses, and this strip will make the mask fit snuggly around the nose. It's easy to sew on since the copper wire is in a cotton sleeve (unlike the metal strips), and it's washable too! Worth taking the time to sew on.
We prefer our mask nose bridges a little tighter than this provides so I added a metal nose bridge on top of it and it's perfect. It is the best nose bridge product that I have purchased so far. Others were far less sturdy.
