better than Harbor Freight OEM tip.

These tips are larger & more heavy duty than the original tip from the Harbor Freight welder; the original tip broke off with the end in the welder. I drilled out the broken end & re-tapped new threads; I used the welder with the new tip to complete the job; it worked great!

Works with Weller WLC soldering iron

Even tho my soldering iron isn't threaded these still do the trick for small hobby work on light plastic with a Weller soldering iron. Turned the heat up 100% and let it warm up sufficiently.

My only recommendation is to find a safe holder while it's warming due to the iron's built in holder is to designed to fit this tip. Totally not the fault of this item so all good in my book.
